Discerning the Will of God Acts 1:15-26
1. The Providence of God
Providence is God’s personal involvement with his creation. Divine providence is the governance of God by which He, with wisdom and love, cares for and directs all things in the universe. Providence is God designing and managing the purpose and plan for which all things were created. It is distinct from His Sovereignty. Providence is God seeing everything and providing a plan for everything. Sovereignty is His right and power to implement the plan.

4. Ask the Holy Spirit to direct you according to God’s Providence.
5. Trust God’s Sovereignty and make a decision.
